It is nice to know that they still rent flats with appliances like toasters and hairdryer. They may no be the crucial things you need but help to make you feel more comfortable and at home. Last year I got an apartment rental in Buenos Aires that had those things and I was able to keep my hair decent even in the humidity of the city!
